Lips of Humiliation

Have you ever opened your mouth to later regret it, to say, what was I thinking? I have!...and recently too.

Yeah, I often times think to myself about how ridiculously foolish I sound sometimes.

God knows how damaging our words can be to our witness, so much in that He admonishes us to ask for His protection in guarding our lips.

Psalm 141:3 "Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips."

Wow, do I ever need this...this verse needs to be stamped and engraved on the forefront of my heart.

Although the past cannot be changed, God has given us the tools, wisdom, and empowerment to change how we respond and engage others in the future!

God desires that we turn from our foolishness and grow in the wisdom of His Word each day.

I challenge you to read a chapter in Proverbs each day...that God would grant us a heart of wisdom that honors and glorifies Him in all we think, say, and do!
